About Us
Living at Blackadon Farm for eight years has
been a fantastic learning experience - “The Good Life” has
been the driving force behind our current life style with
animals and attempts at growing our own food. We are
creating a family enterprise as our two children assist in
different aspects of the holidays we offer you.
Jacky and I have spent many holidays with our
Rambling and cycling friends both here and abroad and
believe we know the ingredients for outstanding Walking
Breaks. We now believe we know what makes a successful group
walking holiday.
At Blackadon Farm we provide an excellent
location for spectacular and varied walking route, an
experienced local guide, good and relaxing private
accommodation with ample space to socialise. The added
luxury of a sauna suite is new venture to further your
evening relaxation.
My background in catering, outdoor education,
teaching and business have provided many of the skills
needed to run a success family business.
Jacky and I have a keen interest in the
environment so we try to operate in an environmentally
friendly way.
